The research-and-production company VMPAUTO was founded in the year 1997 by the group of specialists, interested in creation fundamentally new lubricants. At the heart of idea was the principle of restoration under the action of friction. Investigations of famous tribological scientists and persevering search of new decisions helped our company to achieve a success.

Now the company VMPAUTO specializes in development and production of the new lubricants and has powerful scientific and technical base. There are three laboratories with high-tech equipment and tests stands where our scientists make investigations and tests of lubricants.


The science and the production relate to one technological process. The laboratory of fundamental researches looks for new ways of lubricants creation. The second laboratory develops new products and applies to the industry.

Output of these materials is well planned and controlled by the laboratory of quality control. Since 1999 VMPAUTO has published the scientific magazine “Friction. Wear, Lubrication” to be popular all over the world.



Our aim is to produce high quality lubricants to be popular not only in Russia but also abroad. During our export activity these products have met demands in more than 20 countries: USA, Canada, Turkey, Vietnam, Mexico, Ukraine, Russia and others.
