The price of a Victory

One would think what new could there be, the less the friction, the less is the lower is the friction. But no. It turns if you look at this copy-book maxim at a new light that is when conducting the research use non traditional methods of evaluation. The postulates are being destroyed at ones eyes.

Tuomo Kurki-Suonio, Finland, VMPAUTO partner:
Pollution   control   of   the motor cars

In most civilised countries the exhaust pollution of the gasoline and diesel powered cars is checked by the authorities regularly. There are certain limits of the pollution values depending of the country but also of age of the car.

Valve lapping: necessary or not?
Still about 40 years ago, regular valve lapping was necessary to keep the engines running. Today many of the modern ice (internal combustion engines) do not need anymore valve lapping as a part of the regular maintenance. But when the time comes to repair the engine, then the valve lapping is needed or not?

Tuning? "Will charge" it through the tank
Additives to the motor oil: do we have to trust them?

  Hard – Soft – Hard

Achievements of the science of friction – tribology – allow driving back vicious wear of engine parts. Solid lubricants take up the struggle.

  MC 1000
MC-1000 - metal-plating grease providing anomalously low wear. The wear under MC-1000 greasing is one-tenth as much as that under greasing with popular ShRUS-4M lubricant.

New Resurs

VMPAUTO has completed the test of 4th generation metal-plating additive forming a porous structure coating. The porous structure forms in a contact zone and serves as a reservoir for additional lubricant. As a result of increasing load and temperature, the additional lubricant passes to the contact zone protecting parts against wear.
